HVAC Service Technician

Location: Jacksonville, Deltona/Orlando, Brandon/North Port

Job Summary:

We seek a skilled and experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team! In this role, you will install, service, or repair heating and air conditioning systems in residences or commercial establishments. You have experience as an HVAC service technician and hold an EPA Universal Certification. A team player who is comfortable working independently, you love the feeling of a well-done job and take pride in completing customer jobs efficiently. A positive attitude is a must!

Salary

● Between $25 to $30 per hour

Responsibilities:

● Repair or service heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to improve efficiency, such as by changing filters, cleaning ducts, or refilling non-toxic refrigerants for residential and light commercial

● Establish customer rapport to ensure the highest levels of satisfaction

● Test pipe or tubing joints or connections for leaks using a pressure gauge or soap-and-water solution

● Test electrical circuits or components for continuity using electrical test equipment

● Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring

● Perform routine preventative maintenance

● Respond to emergency maintenance requests

● Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

● Installation of flex duct systems and ventilation products in residential and light commercial buildings

● Install copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including brazing and soldering

● Ability to fabricate ductwork and fittings

● Duct cleaning and sanitizing the system

● Attic insulation

● Should be willing to do new AC installation by themselves to RTU to 5 tons (Helper if needed)

Qualifications:

● Past experience as an HVAC service technician or comparable education (3+ years)

● Valid Drivers License

● EPA Universal Certification

● Experience with operation and maintenance of chillers, heat pumps, air handlers, and geothermal systems

● Ability to climb ladders, crawl, and lift 40 pounds

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour (Plus Bonus and Commission opportunity)

Expected hours: 40 per week / Overtime available / Year round work
